Continue a light dusting of powder down onto your neck and chest to avoid a contrast with facial makeup in photos. Since light reflects differently off of powdered vs. bare skin, in certain lighting and angles you may see a marked difference between face and chest. DO NOT overdo the powder or get it on your gown – just a light dusting will help! Of course, you always want to be certain that your foundation color blends at your jaw line to achieve your most natural overall look.


HOW TO KEEP LIP COLOR FRESH ON YOUR LIPS.
To avoid lip color that disappears, leaving only the lip liner, line lips and smudge liner over entire lip. It allows the lip color applied on top to last longer, adhere better and leave no outline-only lips as it fades. To keep lip color from getting on your teeth – apply lip color and then put your index finger in your mouth (like sucking on a straw) and pull it out slowly. For a chronic problem with this, you might try a lip stain with sheer gloss over the top for shine, since some stains can be very drying on your lips. To give your lip color more staying power – apply a lip sealant (such as Lip Chic) over the lip color and let it thoroughly dry for a minute before putting your lips together. Smudging will be minimized for that first “married kiss.”
